Tournament Format

1. Two Sessions: Morning and Afternoon
2. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
3. Morning session is a round robin format to establish seeding for the afternoon tournament bracket.
4. Won-loss record, point spread, and total offensive points determine seeding.
5. One hour break for lunch. Snack bar provided for teams.

Rules
1. We will be using a 40-yard field. Drive starts on the 40-yard line.
2. 3 plays to make a 10 yard first down.
3. 4 down territory is 20 yards to the goal line.
4. 30 minute running clock with 25 seconds to call plays after the ball is spotted. Delay of game is a 5-yard penalty. One warning will be assessed before penalty is given.
5. QB has 4.0 seconds to release the ball with a center snap and 3.7 seconds without a center. Any expired times (sacks), will rewards the defense with a 5 yard loss.
6. Backs must release from the offensive guard position on out. No releasing over the centers path.
7. Touchdowns score 6 points with 2 options for extra points. 1-point option from the 3-yard line and 2-point option from the 5-yard line.
8. A draw may be used until reaching the 10-yard line. Shovel passes are allowed only when the pass is completed between tackle to tackle.
9. Defenses may use 8 players but one player must be down on one knee prior to the snap of the ball.
10. Any interceptions will reward the defense with an automatic spot on the opponents 30-yard line.
11. All penalties will be enforced. Emphasis is placed on pass interference, holding, unnecessary roughness, and un-sportsmanlike conduct.
12. Only one bump is allowed on the tight-end and all bump and run must be executed with hands. No forearms or shoulders allowed. Safety is of utmost importance during the contest.
13. Tackle is determined by a one-hand touch.
14. Penalties will be enforced.
15. **IF time runs out and the team in possession has the opportunity to tie or win, they maintain possession until they score or fail to make the first downs.
